Playdead were commissioned to create all of the visual effects and motion graphics for the epic 6 part series First Peoples for PBS. This consisted of over 36 photo-realistic map animations to show migration routes, tectonic plate movements, family tree graphics, as well as DNA and VFX raft sequences mapping 3D water with live action footage.
